Sutton Foster is an award-winning performer, dancer and actor who has been featured in eleven Broadway shows - most recently the revival of Violet and the originating roles in the Broadway shows that include The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women, Young Frankenstein, Shrek The Musical, and her Tony Award-winning performances as a dancer and actor in Anything Goes and Thoroughly Modern Millie. Sutton Foster first appeared in a television show on Star Search at age 15, and has more recently appeared on Bunheads, Psych, Johnny and the Sprites, Flight of the Conchords, Sesame Street, Law and Order SVU and Royal Pains. Sutton Foster has toured the US and abroad in a duo with Michael Rafter. She performed songs from "Wish", her first solo disc, and the second one, "An evening With Sutton Foster live at the Caf Carlyle". Ball State University conferred her with an Honorary PhD in 2011. In addition to being a professor and advisor in the Department of Theatre and Dance and Dance, she also received this honor by Ball State University. In March 2015 she began starring as "Younger" on TVLand which is a brand new series developed by Darren Star.
